Cartersville, GA is located in northwestern Georgia, about 45 miles northwest of Atlanta. It is situated in Bartow County, and has a population of approximately 21,000 people. Cartersville can be reached by car via Interstate 75, which runs through the city. The city is home to a number of historic sites, including the Etowah Indian Mounds and the Booth Western Art Museum. Cartersville is also known for its outdoor recreation opportunities, including hiking and fishing in nearby Red Top Mountain State Park.
